Short Bio

Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, composer, painter and polyglot Emayla was born and raised in Italy and is currently based in Los Angeles, CA.

In 2012 Emayla performed with Latin superstar Juanes, as the winner of the nation wide contest by MTV Très, to perform a duet with Juanes himself for his MTV Unplugged album.

Emayla was also a finalist at The John Lennon Songwriting Contest, with her original song “Esperanza de Amor” and was nominated by The Hollywood Music In Media Awards for the Best R&B/Soul category, with another song, called “Stay With Me”. She was also finalist at the U.S.A. Songwriting Competition, with her song “Lo Que Se Da Regresa”.

Emayla was also the winner of Rumi Awards 2015 as “Best Artist Europe” and “Best Singer Duet”.

She has performed all over the world and has been featured in many TV shows in networks such as Univision, MTV Tres, Telemundo, CNN Español, among others.

She also sang in duet with Latin star singer Franco De Vita at the Gibson Amphitheater in Los Angles, CA and she was the opening act for Italian star Jovanotti.
